Anne Ryan Stewardship AWard
There are countless examples of stewardship happening at many different levels within our community. Any person or organization can be a steward. Stewards exert influence from their position at an organization or in the community. They share values and actions and respond to unique attributes of their community. A few categories could include, Environmental, Business, Civic or Cultural. Stewards plant the seeds; they light the spark and help create positive change.
Anne Ryan planted the seeds of what eventually became the County Clothes-Line Foundation. Because of her foresight and willingness to volunteer in and help the community, the County Clothes-Line Foundation has grown from its grassroots beginning, to the thriving entity that supports the community of Strathcona County and the people who live there.
